Welcome to St. Matthias Episcopal Church in
Clarendon County
We are just off I-95, and easy to find and to visit!
We are a parish in the
Diocese of South Carolina, and worship in the traditional
1928 version of the Book of Common Prayer with Eucharist every Sunday.
Whether you are visiting the area or looking
for a new church home, we
welcome you to our services and would be glad to be part of your
Christian
journey, for a moment or for longer.
Our purpose as a church is
to respond to the Great Commission by presenting
Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit that all may come to know
him as
Savior and follow him as Lord in the fellowship of his Church.
Our regular Sunday service
of Holy Communion is held every week at 10:30
in the church proper, following Sunday School at 9:30 in the Fellowship
Hall
area. Children's Chapel is held during Sunday worship with the children
returning for blessings during Holy Communion. |
